Manufacturing is
Alive and Well
and Resides in Philadelphia
At the annual Black & Decker
supplier conference in Jacksonville Florida on
December 6, 2006, Everite, a Philadelphia based
manufacturing company, was one of only a hand-full
of 750 suppliers to be recognized with a Supplier
Excellence Award. The award was in recognition
of cost reduction initiatives implemented by Everite
over the past year. Everite supplies the DeWalt
division of Black & Decker a variety of components
used in corded and cordless power tools. The award
was presented by Black & Decker’s Global
Sourcing Manager Vishak Sankaran and North American
Sourcing Manager Jamie Mann to Everite’s
CEO Daniel Stern and Plant Manager Tony Dagrosa.
Founded in 1951, Everite has two facilities in
Philadelphia and employs approximately 80 people.
